Mantra Prayer for Bodhidham Yog Dhyan Ashram, Nepal
Starting Prayer
अखण्डमण्डलाकारं व्याप्तं येन चराचरम् ।
तत्पदं दर्शितं येन तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः
Akhanda-Mandalakaram vyaptam yena characharam.
Tatpadam darshitam yena tasmai Shri Gurave Namah.
Akhanda – undivided; Mandalakaram – wholesome in circle; vyaptam – pervades; yena – by which; characharam – movable & immovable; Tat padam – That state; darshitam – has shown; yena – by whom; tasmai – to that; Shri -glorious; Gurave – guru, MAster; Namah –my salutations.
I offer my Salutations to that Guru who revealed to me that Ultimate Truth,
which is undivided, infinite, divinity- beyond time and space, and which
pervades the entire universe – both movable or unmovable.
Closing Prayer
ॐ असतो मा सद्गमय ।
तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय ।
मृत्योमा अमृतं गमय ।
ॐ शान्तः शान्तः शान्तः ॥
Aum Asato Maa Sat-Gamaya |
Tamaso Maa Jyotir-Gamaya |
Mrityor-Maa Amritam Gamaya |
Om Shaantih Shaantih Shaantih ||
Aum, (Hey Lord) please Keep me not in (the material World of) Unreality, but
lead me towards the Ultimate Reality (of Eternal Self),
Please Keep me not in (the Ignorant State of) Darkness, but lead me towards the
Light (of Spiritual wisdom),
Please Keep me not in (the mundane World) mortality, but lead me towards the
World of Immortality (of Self-Realization),
Aum, Peace, Peace, Peace. (In the level of Body! Mind! and Spirit!)
