Ashram Guidelines.
Prepare yourself before you arrive for our programs in the ashram.
Things to carry
- Torch light
- Raincoat
- Light jacket in summer and rainy season. Feather jacket and warm clothes in winter.
- Slippers (during the rainy season, bring a suitable one)
- Hand towel for yoga classes
- Water bottle, preferably metallic
- Insect spray
- Avoid drinking water during asana class.
Dress code
Our ashram is based in the tradition.
- Loose and comfortable clothes, covering your body.
- Skin-tight clothes are strictly prohibited.
- For male practitioners, removing the tops during class is restricted.
- No shorts allowed.
- Wash your utensils after the meals as part of karma yoga (selfless action).
Let us keep the gravity of yogic science to receive the optimal benefits, leading towards the self-transformation.
During our programs
- No smoking
- No alcohol
- No narcotics/drugs
- Avoid adultery
- Couples are advised to maintain the decency. Being close, playful and intimate in public is against our culture. Please maintain the decorum.
