Bodhidham is a Registered Yoga School (RYS) with Yoga Alliance International. Upon completion of your training you qualify as an RYT-200 (or RYT-500 for 300hr graduates) and can register with Yoga Alliance to teach anywhere in the world.

All meals at Bodhidham are organic, freshly prepared and vegetarian, following Sattvic (yogic) dietary principles. Breakfast includes oats, fruits and herbal teas. Lunch is the main meal, dal bhat with seasonal vegetables.

Dinner is lighter with soups, bread or rice with vegetables. Special dietary requirements (vegan, gluten-free, allergies) can be accommodated with advance notice.

We offer you both private and twin sharing rooms by allowing you to choose what best suits for your comfort and budget. Guided by the principle that cleanliness is next to godliness, our rooms are kept clean, simple, and comfortable with all basic amenities provided.

  • Beds: Bedsheets and towels are changed regularly.

Is this Yoga Alliance certified?

Yes. Bodhidham is fully registered as an RYS (Registered Yoga School) with Yoga Alliance International. Upon completion you will receive an RYT-200 or RYT-500 certificate recognised worldwide.

Do I need prior yoga experience?

No prior experience is needed for the 200hr training. We welcome complete beginners and seasoned practitioners alike. The 300hr requires a valid RYT-200 certificate from any Yoga Alliance registered school.

What does a typical day look like?

5:30 am wake bell, 6:00 pranayama & meditation, 7:30 Hatha asana, 9:00 breakfast in noble silence, 10:30 philosophy lecture or anatomy workshop, 13:00 lunch, 15:00 self-study / one-to-one, 17:00 evening asana lab, 19:00 satsang & arati, 21:00 lights out.
