Frequently asked
Can I teach yoga after the 100-hour course?
+
The 100-hour course is a foundation course, not a full teaching qualification. On its own it does not register you as a teacher with Yoga Alliance, so it is best seen as a first step rather than a route straight into teaching. If your goal is to teach, this course prepares you well for the 200-hour training, which is the qualification that lets you register as an RYT.
Do I need yoga experience to join?
+
No teaching experience and no advanced practice are needed. The course is built for beginners and committed practitioners, and the sessions are structured to be accessible at any level. A regular personal practice helps you keep up with the daily schedule, but it is not a requirement.
What certificate do I receive?
+
You receive a 100-hour certificate of completion from Bodhidham. It records the hours and curriculum you completed and counts as a foundation toward further training. It is not an RYT teaching credential on its own. If the exact Yoga Alliance wording matters to you, ask us before booking and we will confirm precisely what the certificate covers.
How demanding is the schedule?
+
It is a full course, not a holiday with yoga added on. Days run from an early morning start through to evening, with practice, philosophy, anatomy, and self-study, usually six days a week. Most people find the first few days tiring as they adjust. It is manageable for anyone with a regular practice, but come expecting real work.
What does the price include?
+
The price covers 10 nights accommodation on the ashram in a shared or private room, three organic vegetarian meals a day, all training sessions, your course manual and materials, weekly outdoor excursions, and airport pickup from Pokhara. It does not cover international flights or your Nepal visa. Gluten-free and vegan meals can be arranged with advance notice.
How do I book, and what is the cancellation policy?
+
Booking is done directly with us over WhatsApp or the inquiry form. We confirm your dates and a clear price, usually with a deposit to hold your place. Cancellation and refund terms are set out on our Booking and Refund Policy page, so please read it before you pay, or ask us and we will explain it.
